About the Artist

I'm a Madison, WI based artist working in oil and watercolor. I like to draw and paint from life, be it a portrait, plein air or still life.

As a child growing up in an art-loving family in India, I always enjoyed drawing and painting and took art lessons.  I started perusing art more seriously after moving to USA in 2000 and took art classes and workshops in University of Madison, Palette and Chisel Chicago and other locations. Since 2010 I've been learning from Phil Salamone who is an amazing artist.
